In 1994 Espresso Americano opened its first specialized coffee store in the historic district of downtown Tegucigalpa, the Capital of Honduras.
This event revolutionized the coffee industry in Honduras, selling quality coffee, freshly roasted and ground, in a unique and comfortable store, outside the traditional supermarket shelves. Today there are over 100 stores located in Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, La Ceiba, Choluteca, Puerto Cortes, Comayagua, Roatán, El Progreso, Siguatepeque, Juticalpa, Progreso, Roatan, Copan Ruinas, Tela, Choloma, Santa Rosa de Copan, Danlí and El Paraiso. Our family group began in the coffee business with a small roaster, always delivering coffee as fresh as possible.
Starting 2007, Espresso Americano has more than 750 employees working in the areas of administration, warehouse and distribution.
